Air Temp doesn't stand behind its products

We bought a Janitrol heat pump from Air Temp, owned by Wayland Peterson in Brownwood, TX. The coils were constantly covered with ice over an inch thick. We called them numerous times and they adjusted it around 3 times but the unit continued to freeze up, not allowing any air flow. The heat pump would barely heat our house and it ran constantly, making our electric bill skyrocket. Finally, Air Temp got tired of the situation and refused to provide any more service. We had a service contract with them and everything, but they still refused to return and got annoyed rather quickly. We finally had to take a total loss and buy a different unit elsewhere. We lost a lot of money on purchasing the heat pump, we lost our money on the service contract and we lost money on the very high electric bills that were a result of this very inefficient heat pump. Air Temp was a big disappointment.
